We use on occasion and in small amounts as directed in all the ways above. They are "Farm" Truffles, so share with all. One or two treats can be split and enjoyed by your ruminants, poultry, and equines.

Why do we treat? Below are some of the reasons:

* to administer medications - just break off what you need and stuff the pill inside (please clear with your vet first)

* when administering our herbal dewormer, as the molasses helps sweeten the taste and flush the system, the fennel helps to repel internal parasites further

* molasses is a source of beneficial electrolytes, especially potassium, so when the weather has been sweltering or when our animals are stressed - it aids in replenishing

*and, of course, to reward, but remember a little goes a long way - break off a small amount and share with all on your farm

We love to treat the animals in our care - to see them approach us with such excitement warms our hearts for sure; however, to care for them comes with great responsibility, and treating them to a sweet is an integral part of that responsibility. At Casually Cockeyed Farms, we attempt to approach treating our animals with benefit and reason. We gently combine organic grains, seeds, and herbs with a mixture of almond flour and molasses to contribute to well-being. Each ingredient was added to serve a purpose and meant for occasional use only.
