We use this in conjunction with our Grains, Peas, & Seeds. We combine at the above-suggested rates mixed directly into their daily feed ration.
These are just estimates and based off of our personal experience; the amounts will fluctuate according to your use. Remember, our products are not only designed for your herd, but are intended for your wallet; so whether we are helping you to complement our grains, peas, & seeds, supplement your feed, or offering a treat - we can enrich any feeding plan. The price estimates below do not reflect shipping and handling, as they fluctuate and must factor in circumstances that vary among buyers (i.e., distance, shipping method, etc.).
To feed one adult ruminant at a rate of 1/8 cup per 1/2 cup of feed, twice daily it would cost about $0.52 per day for a 1.5 lb bucket. The cost would fall to about $0.46 per day if you were using a 3 lb bucket. For one adult at this feeding rate, there are about 50 servings in a 1.5 lb bucket and about 100 servings in a 3 lb bucket.
We, at Casually Cockeyed Farms, realize this cost may be out of reach for some, but that is why we design our products with every farm in mind. We use the highest of quality ingredients; however, we pay a premium to do so. The good news is you can control the cost by utilizing the option to supplement your already established feeding program - just toss us into your feed and voila! To further reduce the cost, simply offer us to your herd as a beneficial, healthy treat - the possibilities are endless!
